Angie Cortesio is founder and CEO of Transcend Benefits Group. She brings over 30 years of experience as a highly accomplished senior business executive & national director/leader in the insurance industry working for the largest brokers - Marsh & Aon, representing high profile association/membership groups, national & international Fortune 500 corporate clients. Successful at management , she has expertise in business development, carrier, a pioneer in Insurtech, she handled platform negotiation, marketing strategy, design & integration for over 50 national clients. As a Vice President of Acquisition / Onboarding , trained at McKinsey, her team team integrated over 10 companies. She established her own national brokerage and consulting firm in 2017.

Her clients benefit from her strong national strategic relationships and collaborative approach. Niche specialties include creating unique program solutions in sports, entertainment, travel/& leisure . Also providing streamlined, comprehensive insurance solutions for small to large sized clients through Payroll , HR, CFO outsourcing, Private Equity relationships., including Captive and Special Risk solutions and partnering with other insurance brokers/agencies.

Angie holds a Bachelor’s Degree focused in English Literature & History from Saint Mary’s College/Notre Dame. Active with the Palm Beach Symphony , on Board of Directors of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Fort Lauderdale FL., and a member of the NOVA Southeastern University Athletic Advisory Board . She was also a member of The Catholic University of America’s Parents Council. She has been a passionate supporter for the past 20 years of lacrosse in Florida. Her favorite role is as mom of her four sons & her golden retriever, Baxter.
